The human race is defeated in a battle against extraterrestrial life that suddenly strikes, and the Earth becomes a danger zone overrun by various monsters.
Humanity has been pulled down from the top of the food chain.
The few humans who survived lived in fear of predators, hiding behind their breath.

My sister, Allen, and my brother, Roy, are siblings.
On their way back to the shelter, they stop in a town and are attacked by a monster, which takes Roy away.

The city hadn’t had a monster sighting in a long time, but the monster had secretly formed a nest and wiped out the vigilante group that ran the city.

Knowing the biology of the monster that had taken Roy, Allen assumed that young Roy would not be eaten right away, but would be brought into the nest and used for reproduction.
In the end, he finds the monster that took Roy, but is himself captured by it.

When Allen wakes up, he finds himself in a monster’s nest, his entire body wrapped in a cocoon, being used as a nursery material.

And there’s Roy, all changed up…
