The soul is more fundamental and closer to the “root of existence" than the mind or spirit, and has traits similar to the “total account" that is tied to you from the moment you came into existence and is in constant use.

You can use your General Account (soul) to descend to a world with advanced science, like a science fiction world, or to an uncharted planet with a low level of civilization, or to a world with an advanced magical civilization.

They may have lived as animals, plants, mechanical life forms, or as spiritual beings without physical bodies.

Your soul accumulates experiences through such “live experiences", and through your life, you will have raw and vivid experiences such as feeling various feelings, happiness and conflicts, and by accumulating such experiences, your soul will grow.

There are two aspects to the soul.
One is the unchanging and immortal part.
The fact that your soul is immutable and cannot be harmed by anyone and is eternally pure.

Loyalty to an organization or to God
Contracts and obedience

These may indeed have been the right choices and actions at that moment in time, but they are only “limited to that moment in life.
In the next life, they will have no meaning and may even become a curse or a chain that holds you back.

The journey of your soul is very long.
In such a long journey, the life you incarnate as a human being on this planet is a small journey, less than a hair’s breadth, but in that life, you will be subjected to ridiculously unfair contracts, wrong ideas, pain and humiliation, and many other things that you should not have to suffer. If you do this, your soul will eventually become distorted.

If we repeatedly “chain ourselves to our souls by our own power" and make easy promises and oaths over and over again in our reincarnation lives, our souls will become more and more constrained, damaged and exhausted.
