This is a chronological history of the Balkan Wars from the defeat to the beginning of the war, and then the battles in Kafkaes-Palestine-Mesopotamia-Geribor. 1916 Ottoman expedition to Europe is also described.
This article focuses on the operational and tactical dimensions of the war, but goes into some detail on the opening stages and the Armenian genocide.
The reference material at the end of the book deals with the First World War and changes in tactics, the armaments of the three major powers (Ottoman, British, and Russian), and morale issues.
