Story

Johan, a young man of noble birth, has been staying with his uncle, Duke Georg of Aron.
His wife, Octavia, disapproves of him and throws him out of the house.

In the end, Johan’s grief is overwhelmed by a chance encounter with the devil, who teaches him hypnosis.
This is the first time I’ve ever seen such a thing.

Characters

Isabelle

She is Johan’s cousin. She is cheerful and vivacious, and says what she thinks clearly.
She thinks Johan is weird and dark.

Octavia

She is very proud, probably because she is of the royal blood of a neighboring country.
He tends to put his own ends first and choose no means.
