The seventh one is Shirogane, played by [Chihiro Jojo]!

A country where most of the railroad tracks have been lost due to the great abandonment – Hinomoto.
But there are still a few railroad companies scattered around the country that continue to fight against the great railway abandonment.
One such project, [Gramophone Rail], was launched by a major newspaper to introduce the attractions of the railroads and their lines through the lens of sound.
The main role of finding and introducing sounds is played by “railroads," which are puppets/doll-like modules that usually support the operation and control of the trains running along the route.

The railroad line that crosses the Guanmen Strait Tunnel, a major transportation artery connecting Shimoguan in Hongshou and Menji Port in Jiuzhou, barely survives as a third-sector [Guanmen Railway] due to the actual demand for cargo transportation.
Electric locomotives called “silver kettles" with stainless steel bodies pull passenger and freight cars across the Guanmen Strait Tunnel.
The oldest of them all, Shirogane, the railroader for EF10 23, who is not very good at communication, is also asked to participate in the [gramophone leel].

Recording location
This work was recorded in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Moji City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and the Kanmon Kaikyo Tunnel, which connects the two cities.
Both cities are major tourist destinations and have a lot of traffic. In addition, at the time of the field recording, almost all indoor facilities were closed to prevent infectious diseases.
In this album, I challenged myself to create a sound that makes the most of the hustle and bustle. I hope you will be able to immerse yourself in the sound space created by the tranquility of white gold and the bustle of the crowd.

I harmonized the sounds of rain and oil with the voices, breaths, and pauses, and made the whole scene moist and full of wet emotions. The result is an earworm with a strong adult feel.

■ASMR
In creating the sound for the track set in the precincts of a shrine where you can see the ships crossing the Kanmon Straits, I adjusted the size of the sound to bring the bustle of the ships to the edge of harmony with the charm of the voice.
In the marketplace scene, where we dared to make the most of the bustle of the crowd, we used the sound of a cart actually passing by the microphone, and prepared a long cleaning scene with a deck brush filled with water.
I think this series of scenes in particular will give you a strong sense of straight ASMR. We hope you enjoy it.
